art of motion training in movement

One of art of motion's main goals is to train independent teachers in Contemporary Pilates and Slings Myofascial Training. Teachers who are able to offer their clients a versatile and functional training that is fun.

Quality is our first priority. Professional educators, constantly updated course content and detailed and illustrated course books that are self-explanatory. We offer the tools – our students use them with creativity and intuition.

Our expression of contemporary means integrating insights from modern science and kinematics into our teaching method. We unite current knowledge and proven principles for a state of the art training.

The Contemporary Pilates curriculum provides a well-founded Pilates matwork education – the perfect start for a specialist career. A large range of further education courses ensure professional quality and development.

Slings Myofascial Training is an innovative new concept addressed to qualified movement professionals and therapists. The fascia-focused training is based on a solid theoretical foundation and intelligent transformation into movement.

art of motion was founded in 2004 by Karin Gurtner (Education Manager) and Monika Gurtner (Managing Director). The head office is located in Berne, Switzerland – international courses are held in partner institutions all over the world.

We support and acknowledge prior education and offer the possibility of lateral entry.
